Attitude and Perceived Social Norms Towards Risk-taking Behaviors among Male University Students in Malaysia

This study was conducted to investigate the attitudes and perceived social norms regarding risk behaviours as well ascertain how context influences their likelihood adhere norms. The adopted a qualitative methodology with phenomenological design. applied purposive snowballing sampling methods, in-depth interviews were among six participants. Findings indicated that students' towards risk-taking mainly positive due perception they knew limits able restrain use for recreational purposes. Those negative had experiences obsessive engagement in behaviour. suggests importance of having an open discussion surrounding need educate university students understand thought process behaviours.
